Beautiful made Aquarium for the whole family with very reasonable admission fees. Especially on weekends during between Memorial Day and Labor Day you should arrive early because the parking lot fills up quickly.

Very nice Visitor Center / Educational Pavillon with exhibitions about the civil war era (including a movie theater) and exhibitions about the coastal fauna and flora. Additionally there are very clean restrooms, a gift shop and very friendly and knowledgeable Park Rangers.

Nice pond which is accessible via easy hiking trails (flat, almost no roots etc.). The parking lot is easily be missed and is next to a lone commercial building. Parking lot was almost empty when we arrived around 10am and almost full when we left about an hour later.
