Hello: I walk this trail almost daily and it is extraordinary because you can find turtles, deer, wild boars, alligators, and all kinds of birds - including the magnificent Sandhill Crane. To improve the tour, you can start from Northlake Boulevard instead of PGA Bvd, or start from PGA Bvd (Sandhill Crane Park) because the vehicle parking is there, and go back and forth to Northlake Bvd and then head for the journey to Riverbend Park. Once you arrive at the park, there are multiple shelters to stop and have a coffee or a refreshment. It is a beautiful walk.

This is one of the very few locations to get flowing water from a spigot. To be honest, the taste of the water was pretty awful, so bring some flavour to add to the water.

There are some picnic chickees and picnic pavilions if you want to spend a relaxing day in the park. You can also bring your kayak or canoe for a little cruise. Opening hours: from sunrise to sunset.
