It can be seen from far away, unfortunately not open only a few days a year

Unfortunately, the noise level from the motorway on the other side of the lake is considerable. I cannot understand why they built a glass wall there instead of a proper noise barrier.

The tower was built in 1908 according to the plans of the architect Oskar Lindberg. The builder was the Swedish botanist Veit Wittrock, after whom the building is also called "Wittrock's Tower". The tower was intended to serve as a lookout tower and a workplace for Wittrock, as well as a museum for his seed and cone collection. The collection is still in the tower. Since the early 1990s, the tower has been used as an artist's studio. On a few occasions a year, cultural-historical walks are organized in the garden, and then it is possible to climb the tower. In April, there is almost nothing to see here, as in the entire botanical garden.

Carl Michael Bellman (1740-1795) was a Swedish poet and composer. He is Sweden's most famous songwriter and is still considered a national poet in Swedish literature. The Bellman statue is a sculpture created by Alfred Nyström in 1872. The work is located in two places in Stockholm: in Hasselbacken, Södra Djurgården and here in Kräftriket next to Brunnsviken. Gustaf Alfred Nyström (1844-1897) was a Swedish sculptor. Really nice segment with amazing view over lake Brunnsviken and Hagaparken. There are some places for sunbathing and some romantic spots for picnics. Close by is a kayak rental (south) and the botanical garden (north), where one can find some cafes. It is highly recommended to walk the full round around Brunnsviken (12 km) passing by the English park, barbecue areas, a sandy beach, Hagaparken with its palace and Chinese pavilion as well as boat and kayak clubs.

To try the echo, stand in the middle of the temple and speak straight up into the dome. This gives a nice echo for such a small and open building - impressive!
