Narrow trails are generally unsuitable for MTBs, as the legally required distance from pedestrians cannot be maintained, unless the trail is expressly approved for MTBs by signage.

The Herrmannsruh was given a new look in August 2024 by the Frankenhausen village community (www.dg-fh.de). Now, in addition to a normal bench, there is also a relaxation bench on new paving. The view towards the skyline 🏙️ Frankfurt is still as beautiful as before 😜

Wonderful beer garden, right on the Modau, unfortunately you can hear the B426 very clearly.

Very nice view but during the week the chance of finding a free bench is better.

Nice path along the Modau. It splashes beautifully and in February you can see lots of snowdrops in the wild 😜

daring single train, at least with a gravel bike. In addition to a lot of thorn bushes, there is also a busy road below - you need to be careful here!
