A nice little bistro with very friendly staff... the fish sandwiches are amazing... long-distance hikers can camp behind the bistro for a few euros upon request.

The café is located down by Lake Fuhlensee, which is a tributary of the Schwentine River at this point. Launching and launching canoes costs €2.00. Bringing your own food is prohibited on the freestanding picnic bench down here.

When the weather is good, open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., rustic but the coffee and food are delicious. Good place to take a break before continuing your kayak journey

Also highly recommended by us. Super nice service, a simple but well-kept and pleasant atmosphere and of course a wonderful location! The menu includes fish rolls and delicious cakes at the weekend.

The kiosk is closed in the winter season. A short but steep path leads there through a courtyard with a few geese that start chattering excitedly as you approach. Unfortunately, the opening hours are not signposted up the street and the signpost to the kiosk is there all year round. Even if the kiosk is closed, you can sit there and take a break with a view of the Fuhlensee. The lake can only be seen in part from there, but everything that flew and swam past in such a short time was unique. A very nice place.

We've been there twice, it was delicious, we had a good meal and the service was great. We would like to come back a 3rd time with the canoe.
