The view - but also the way there - is the highlight of the Rabenack via ferrata and worthwhile! The via ferrata is, in contrast to the shorter Rheinsteig, partially secured (that's the technical term) - i.e. equipped with steel ropes. A via ferrata set is not absolutely necessary, but in general, freedom from vertigo and sure-footedness are recommended.

View from the upper end of the Rabenacklettersteig, where it (again) meets the Rheinsteig. Wonderful view and both trails are highly recommended! The via ferrata, unlike the shorter Rheinsteig, is partly secured (this is the technical term) - i.e. equipped with steel cables. A via ferrata set is not strictly necessary, but in general, a head for heights and sure-footedness are recommended.
