The Reha Klinik Sommerfeld The Waldhaus Charlottenburg was built between 1912 and 1914 as a lung sanatorium (at the time also a "tuberculosis home") for the city of Charlottenburg, which was independent until 1920. The buildings in alpine country house style were built under the direction of Charlottenburg's city building councilor Heinrich Seeling, based on designs by his colleague Richard Ermisch. In 1964, the clinic was named after its long-time director Hellmuth Ulrici: Ulrici-Klinik. In 1987, the clinic for operative orthopedics, which changed its specialist profile due to the decline in severe lung diseases, and the clinic for manual medicine were founded. After German reunification, the clinic initially passed from state ownership of the GDR to the administration of the Berlin Senate. Finally, Sana Kliniken acquired the facility and continued to focus on joint-specific treatments.

"Bicycle repair station on the Hennigsdorf–Bötzow cycle path" – recommended by hikers. Sure… what's a hiker supposed to do with that? Pump up their shoes? Tighten their laces? Apparently, it's not how spectacular a place is that counts, but how you can become a pioneer by getting lots of likes.

The so-called New Palace is an Art Nouveau villa built around 1900 by the Vetschau industrialist Ferdinand Griebenow (1848–1910), who appointed Count Reichenbach as his general representative for local business.[4] In 1907, the estate manager was Hans von Gynz-Rekowsky (1853–1932), who also lived in Wansdorf with members of his family.[5] In 1914, the 1140-hectare manor belonged to the municipality of Spandau, which appointed chief inspector Feuerstack to manage it. In 1929, the owner was Berliner Stadtgüter GmbH. At that time, the Wansdorf estate had a remaining area of 643 hectares.[6] Source: Wikipedia Accessible via a side passage. But inhabited.
