The Celtic farmstead of Stöffling is part of the archaeological trail through the municipality of Seeon-Seebruck on the northern shore of Lake Chiemsee. In the area of the former La Tène period Celtic settlement, several thousand Celtic coins made of gold, silver, and other metals, as well as 24 nearly complete fibulae, were found. Dating based on the fibulae allowed for the conclusion that the settlement existed from approximately 250 to 30 BC. Not far from the original site of the Celtic settlement, a human settlement—in the form of a Celtic farmstead—has been reconstructed as realistically as possible. The Celtic farmstead is open year-round and can be visited free of charge at any time. https://www.chiemsee-alpenland.de/entdecken/alle-sehenswuerdigkeiten/keltengehoeft-stoeffling-roemerregion-chiemsee-0fdb2d2aac
