Caution! I'm an experienced mountaineer with good knowledge and was briefly very scared up there on the Schinder, as the last 100 meters before the Schindertor are very dangerous! You really have to climb the rock here, without using a rope or having good footholds (everything here is crumbly, and sometimes pieces of the gel just break off wherever you're holding on). The Schindertor itself was less of a problem (for me) because there's a safety rope here, and I can climb vertically up the rock with one. And it does, so there's definitely a risk of slipping because it's humid up there, even at 30°C. In summary, the climb here is only recommended to a very limited extent.
