A little paradise for children and adults alike. Sport fishing is possible at the Audan Alpine lakes. It's the ideal place for beginners, who can get acquainted with this activity here. There's a small shop with fishing equipment.

The Strada Alta is of course much longer (Biasca to Airolo). I cycled the upper half in December 23 and it was beautiful and easy, with the exception of the Bosco d'Oesc (difficult forest section, pushing sections).

The hike from Piora over Lake Ritom to the Cadagna Hut and then over the Passo delle Columbe to the Lukmanier Pass road is highly recommended, especially at this time of year, even if the descent is a bit demanding on your legs. Please note, however: there is no internet connection in the Cadagna Hut, but you will find peace and quiet and freedom from the telephone.
