If the Krückau continues to be so muddy, the Klostersande will be stuck.

Small, lovingly designed shelter. Particularly striking is the hand-painted saying on the gable: "Sett di dol, verpust di mol" - Low German for roughly: Sit down and take a break. A nice little resting place with its own character.

This church is stunningly beautiful from the inside. The Gothic hall church with its Baroque furnishings is open regularly thanks to the dedication of many volunteer church caretakers.

I passed by there today, July 28, 2025, on my tour "Kollmar with a round trip north of the Krückau" and took a look over the Krückau in front of the Käptn-Jürs Bridge. I missed the ship.
