The town square is almost 500 meters long and features colorful facades in the Inn-Salzach architectural style. It's definitely worth taking a break here.

I did the tour from Schwindegg train station to Mühldorf. You drive over an Isen bridge maybe four times, then from Stephanskirchen you drive about two km next to the Isen. But you can't see it, because the very thick tree growth prevents any view of the river. Otherwise the view is limited to purely agricultural areas; i.e. mainly corn fields; no fallow meadows, no flowering areas. I don't understand why the residents of Dorfen and the surrounding area have delayed the construction of the A94 for decades by pointing out the supposed beauty of the Isen valley. Corn fields and arable farming up to the banks of the Isen are probably counterproductive here. All in all a boring tour. PS: there is another trail on the other side of the Isen, right next to the bank. I rode there for a few kilometers last year; but in my opinion the route is not suitable for normal trekking e-bikes.
