Sturdy footwear is essential! Drink plenty of fluids. Anyone with knee problems should avoid this hike. The route, both up and down, consists of 90 percent stairs and very rough paths. I counted around 500 steps.

Near the lake of Piazze, the waterfall of the Regnana stream, called "del Lupo", is of great charm and natural beauty. The water falls into the void for about 36 meters and in winter it is possible that it freezes, creating an amazing spectacle. The stream, however, does not continue flowing into the lake of Piazze, but into the Avisio torrent.
