From just above the Ega d'Al Plan stream, you have a splendid view of the valley near San Vigilio di Marebbe. This is also a crossroads for several fun walks in the area.

Flow trail, marked as S2 S3. The actual trail is S2, an optional black section that can be bypassed in blue. Steep but not scary, always flowing and always with ground under the wheels. No technical passages, no rough stones, no roots, no obstacles, just flow. Definitely suitable for beginners. Beginners in the sense of riders who have already sat on a MTB but have no experience with bike parks. This is the ideal first trail, also because there is hardly anything going on. 100% S2 fun. Ideal for eMTB: 400m elevation, 15 minutes up on a mostly gentle incline, 10 minutes down. From the campsite exactly 1 hour for 2x up/down there and back. Battery is enough for 3 rides.

The dedication document of the St. Barbara Chapel, whose second patron saint is St. Florian, dates from 1491. St. Barbara is the patron saint of miners. It is assumed that the chapel was built by miners from the valley of Buchenstein (Lan. Fodom). According to local tradition, silver was once mined in nearby Tolpëi, which could also explain why the patron saint of miners has a chapel here. The tradition is supported by the fact that mining for lead ore and silver has been documented for the 16th century, so it could have been carried out earlier in the 15th century.
