Erhard Chapel City of Trochtelfingen The small chapel was first mentioned in 1363 and in 1367 it was mentioned as being in honor of the Holy Cross and Saint Erhard. In the “eastern suburb” it now functions as a cemetery chapel. The frescoes painted by Heinrich Gretzinger around 1430 are preserved in rare completeness in the chapel: on the south side of the pointed arch barrel you can see a Marian cycle, the childhood and the baptism of Christ, on the north side the Passion is depicted, and finally the crucifixion on the east wall . The west wall is unpainted. Source: https://www.kultur-machen.de/Erhardkapelle-Trochtelfingen
