Gavardina Cycle and Pedestrian Path

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

The "Gavardina" cycle path is a protected path of great environmental value dedicated exclusively to gentle mobility: bikes, scooters, hoverboards, inline skates.
It runs alongside the Naviglio between meadows and fresh groves. Along the route there are several rest points equipped for barbecues and picnics.

The paths are sometimes very bumpy due to loose rubble and gutters from heavy rain...
But, the olive groves are well worth seeing!

Valtenesi Cycle Path

Highlight • Cycleway

I would not recommend taking this path with a race bike. The concrete hasn't been maintained in a while, and is in very bad condition at multiple places. Lots of potholes, debries and loose grit are found here.
I was unfortunate enough to crash rather badly in one of the corners because of this, so I hope this tip can prevent anyone else from having the same bad experience.
Especially when travelling from north to south, I would recommend taking the slightly bigger roads a bit more to the east.

beautiful village, located in a bend of the lake, wonderfully kept, with a recent disastrous history from which it is only recently shaking off with the revocation of the honorary citizenship established in 1924.

A stunning bike path halfway up the hillside, always immersed in woods or olive groves, almost entirely paved except for a few potholed sections. A cycling marvel for gravel or mountain bikes, though. Not for racing bikes!

Totally dedicated cycle path that from the municipality of Rezzato arrives to the municipality of Gavardo, practically the cycle path that connects the city to Lake Garda. The surface is asphalted and today in various points it is disconnected due to the roots, recently there is a bicigrill at the height of Prevalle and maintenance work is underway on various bridges.
