This is one of my most beautiful stops in the Saale-Unstrut wine region. Feel free to make a stop and enjoy the atmosphere and of course drink a glass of wine or beer.

In the center of Kapellendorf there is an old oven. It is still used today for public bread baking on special occasions.

Not a highlight—just a normal bridge. 😄

A nice place to take a break. There's also a manor house nearby.

Our family-run farm, with its arable farming, animal husbandry, and on-site marketing, is located directly on the Saale Cycle Path. Homemade Thuringian sausage is one of our signature products. Our farm's own boat dock, bicycle garage, private room above the horse stable, guest house, and much more offer accommodations for nature lovers. After a boat or bike ride, you can find rest and relaxation in our furnished guest rooms or in the separate guest house. The large common room with a kitchenette offers ample space. The ruins of St. Cyriak's Church lie approximately 1.5 km northwest of the town of Camburg on a spur protruding into the Saale Valley, protected by a rampart on its western flank. Steeper terrain to the south and east provides good protection for the complex, and a small leveled area to the north adjoins it. The area is connected to the path system running along the western slope. St. Cyriak's Church has the appearance of a basilica. It consists of a single-nave western section, a transversely rectangular sanctuary, and a strongly recessed angular chancel.

This bridge leads to Kaatschen. Directly after crossing the Ssale, a converted garage serves delicious wine, craft beer, and sandwiches. An ideal stop for cyclists, hikers, and Saale paddlers.
