The Geyser in Wallenborn is a cold water geyser that erupts every 35 minutes. So if you just missed the eruption (or want to see it again), you only have to wait half an hour and the spectacle begins again. The physical basics around the geyser are sufficiently explained on the display boards all around. The Wallende Born is something like the smaller brother of the cold water geyser in Andernach, because the physical principle is the same. In the past, you could visit the geyser free of charge, but today you have to pay a small fee, which is manageable, and if you haven't seen something like this before, you should take a look (it's always cheaper than the Andernach geyser).

Every 35 minutes the eruption starts with a beautiful column of water up to 4 meters high. After that the water continues to "bubble" for about 5 minutes. Then the source goes back to rest for 30 minutes and then it starts all over again. Der Wallenborn, the cold water geyser, is very nice to take with you when visiting the area.
