A beautiful picnic spot on the banks of the Luhe river. The tables and benches are a bit dated, but invite you to relax to the sound of the water. The charcoal burner's hut as a barbecue area can be rented from the Garstedt municipality for a fee.

In Salzhausen, there's Café &köstlich, a lovely garden café at Winsener Str. 8, with delicious snacks and cakes, all lovingly decorated. Highly recommended.
