Here you can pedal in complete tranquility, letting yourself be embraced by the cool shade of the lush trees. The Vescovata cycle path is located along the Oglio cycle path which we also talked about in our blog: https://www.givi-bike.com/gli-itinerari-di-givi-bike/

It is a small country church, located at the end of a long and picturesque tree-lined avenue. The construction is subsequent to the famous Battle of Chiari (September 1, 1701) fought between the imperial troops commanded by Eugene of Savoy and the Franco-Piedmontese allies in the context of the War of the Spanish Succession. Under the hill on which the simple building stands, the remains of over 3,000 soldiers who died during the fierce battle are buried. The small church, usually closed, is used on Easter Monday and the national celebrations of April 25 and November 4 (as it is also a shrine to the Fallen). In the late afternoon of May 11, 2019, a violent whirlwind completely devastated the surrounding area, knocking down all the trees surrounding the building and the avenue. Miraculously, the small sanctuary suffered only minor damage.

The "Oi" agri-brewery is a young farm, born with the intention of enhancing the production of cereals in the Oglio Park in Brescia. In addition to a shop selling home-made products, there is also a refreshment point and a bike rental service.

cite the Naviglio della Melotta wanted by Francesco Sforza, the progenitor of the Sforza dynasty in Milan, as well as the husband of Bianca Maria Visconti. Having received the entire Cremonese territory as a dowry from the Visconti, in addition to the Naviglio Civico he built a derivation of the Naviglio della Melotta to increase navigation capacity along the waters that lead from the lower Bergamo area to the Cremasco and Cremona. The Naviglio della Melotta originates just south of Fontanella from the Naviglio Civico and flows almost entirely in the Cremasco area. To the south of the Melotta hamlet, the so-called Pianalto di Romanengo (today a protected area) enters a “relief of 10/15 m above the surrounding plain. The passage by bike is on a dirt road and then the final asphalt part and it is a very beautiful, lonely and rich in bird area being in a protected area.

KM0 farm brewery on the Oglio cycle path, shortly after Urago d'Oglio. Possibility to drink excellent craft beer (the production of barley and hops is in the opposite fields, the yeasts are from Franciacorta and the water is from springs) They also cook grills and produce flour, semolina and pasta. http://www.origine-italiana.it/it/
