Located at an altitude of approximately 2500 meters at the foot of the Tsanfleuron glacier, the Cabane de Prarochet refuge is an essential outpost in the stone desert of the Diablerets massif. This wooden and stone structure blends perfectly into a lunar landscape dominated by "lapiaz", the characteristic fissures in the limestone rock shaped by erosion. A fundamental resting point for those hiking the Tour du Sanetsch, the hut offers a warm and spartan welcome in a high mountain environment where the silence is broken only by the wind. From its terrace, you can enjoy an extraordinary view of the Valais peaks, making it the ideal place to contemplate the vastness of the karstic fields and the majesty of the perennial ice that surrounds this remote corner.

There are several bisses in Valais, irrigation canals that carry water from the mountains to cultivated land. The Torrent Neuf bisse is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular of them. The route and photos are available at: https://treksrandos.fr/alpes/valais/alpes-bernoises/bisse-du-torrent-neuf/

definitely worth doing, less difficult than misse du Roh. you have to do them there and back or make a round walk. with bad weather thunderstorms and heavy rain this walk can be closed.

A very beautiful hike, with all three suspension bridges accessible up to the chapel. After that, the path is closed.
