The beautiful, imposing church dominates the main square here. All around you will also find some places to rest and eat. Right next to the church, there is also a fountain.

Beautiful view into the Pinkatal. Especially in good weather, a photo spot.

I hiked past here as part of my Eisenberg Tour. A beautiful church that presents itself on an elevation here in the village center. 38 steps lead up to the plateau where you will also find some seating. In the immediate vicinity, you will also find the war memorial and further resting places, as well as a stone well and a plague cross - both on the village square.

In the village square, you'll find this stone well, right next to the rest pavilion and the cholera cross.

A nice place to take a break. At least when it's not raining... so it wasn't for me on my tour.

Parts of the castle wall and some outlines are visible. Unfortunately, that's all you can see of the castle itself, as it's privately owned (i.e., private property). However, events are regularly held on the castle grounds. The entrance ticket then essentially grants you the chance to see more of the castle.

A lovely spot on the outskirts of Deutsch Schützen. And of course, an interesting church that seems somewhat unfinished. Next to it, you'll find a stone cross, and a few meters further down, a great rest area with a drinking fountain.
