Tower of the municipal building, dating back to the 1930s. Beautiful example of Italian rationalist architecture.

Beautiful mill just "for advertising" next to the main road. Very easy to see. Worth stopping and admiring calmly.

Carignano is located on the left bank of the Po and was a flourishing medieval village, but in the 19th century it lost importance with the advent of the railways. Among its beauties stand out the eighteenth-century cathedral of Benedetto Alfieri, the church of the Madonna delle Grazie and the sanctuary of Valinotto, built in 1738 around the venerated Madonna del Latte. The historic houses preserve terracotta decorations and refined artistic details.

On the old railway (now cycle path) Airasca-Moretta, the former railway toll booth of Vigone has been revisited in a modern key to welcome cycle tourists in the small town with an enviable look. Restyling performed by the artist Coco Cano.

Small village with a very small but very interesting centre. Among the points of interest: the churches of Santa Caterina and San Bernardino, the civic tower, the town hall and the schools, with a beautiful mural in memory of the 2020 pandemic, an early 20th century building in Art Nouveau style. Scalenghe is reached by the "Via delle Risorgive" cycle path: once you get there, it is worth taking a one kilometer detour and visiting the town centre.

This former railway toll booth near the former Vigone station has been recovered and repainted with geometric patterns, with a wonderful aesthetic effect. Congratulations to the creators and makers.
