Chapel not far from Sciolze, at the top of a slightly challenging dirt ramp. The entrance seems blocked, but the pedestrian passage next to the barrier is also accessible by bike (the iron rod closing the passage bends upwards, allowing passage - obviously I realized this *after* doing the acrobatics...) The "avenue of remembrance" with a column in memory of the fallen and a staircase flanked by two rows of cypresses leading up to the chapel is interesting. Beautiful view all around. Worth a stop.

Beautiful church, dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel, not ancient but certainly striking. Particularly beautiful is its location, nestled as it is between the castle and the hill below. A beautiful pedestrian street circles it, allowing you to see it from above as well. Also not to be missed are some points of interest in the immediate vicinity: a cistern on the roadside, connected to the church by a staircase, and the chapel of San Grato, not far from the cistern, a bit dilapidated but beautiful to behold.
