CHRONO BIKE has an operator available for assistance and bike rental. I arrived on Sunday around 12 with a flat tire. Thanks to their presence I was able to replace the tube and leave again without having to finish the tour. I recommend it.

The convent has very ancient origins. It was built by Saint Francis, around 1200, during his pilgrimage from Assisi to Loreto. In the portico you can still admire frescoes from the 13th and 15th centuries which illustrate the most important episodes in the life of the Poverello di Assisi. Furthermore, near the convent there is the well where Saint Francis changed the water into wine to cheer up the workers who were tired of the long work.

In the Fonte delle Mattinate area in Serravalle di Chienti, during the works at the Renaissance Botte del Varano, a very notable hydraulic work from the Roman era was identified and almost completely explored, in use from the Republican period until the late Empire, built in same purpose two millennia ago.
