June 5, 2026, Diga di Ridracoli

Here the splendor of nature, unaltered over millennia, as in Sasso Fratino, meets the needs of man who, with the collected waters of the Bidente river, after 13 years of studies, created the dam in 1982, intended to quench the thirst of all of Romagna in the worst moments of drought, a splendid example of integration between man and the environment.

November 6, 2025, Lago degli Idoli

An ancient Etruscan archaeological site, where, following the chance discovery of a bronze statuette by a herdsman (around 1850), excavations were carried out several times, resulting in the discovery of over a thousand bronze archaeological finds (statuettes, fragments, and arrowheads), some of which were of exquisite workmanship and value, now scattered throughout major museums worldwide. The small lake, almost a puddle, was therefore a center of Etruscan rituals and worship. It is considered the most important archaeological site in Casentino.

June 27, 2023, Lago Lungo

Lago dei Pontini (748 meters above sea level) and Lago Lungo (616 meters above sea level) are located on the slopes of Mount Còmero. They were formed following an enormous landslide which broke out on 15 February 1855 from San Cataldo, on the north-west side of the Còmero, and which in its slow flow destroyed around fifty houses, including the Baroncioni village and the church of Crocesanta, and then reach the Savio, temporarily blocking its course. Around them there is an ancient chestnut grove which includes many centuries-old plants. Today the delightful stretches of water - the largest (2.5 hectares) is that of the Pontini - surrounded by centuries-old chestnut trees and lush nature, are ideal places for leisure and relaxation. There are refreshment points with local gastronomic specialties, picnic areas, paths for healthy walks on foot, by MTB or on horseback.
