Beautiful small town on the Moselle

The bridge is definitely worth a visit. Best to park at parking lot P1 in Mörsdorf. From there, simply follow the signs. The parking costs €10. No card payment at the machine. I find the parking fee okay because the bridge is free. Elsewhere, you also have to pay admission for a suspension bridge. Come as early as possible, then the parking lot and the bridge will be nice and empty. When the bridge is nice and empty, it doesn't swing as much. This might be important for some.

Animal park in the Hunsrück region near Kastellan. Family-friendly layout.

A well-maintained, clearly laid-out zoo, which is highly recommended, especially for families with children and dogs on leashes.

A small zoo with lovely enclosures, some of which you can even walk through. Unfortunately, there weren't many animals to see during our winter visit, but it was still fun! Dogs (on a leash) are allowed!

Got it, Klaus 👍 – here's a more detailed Komoot comment about Zell, which brings together history, winemaking, and the Moselle loop: "Zell lies in one of the most beautiful loops of the Moselle and is one of the most traditional wine-growing towns in the region. Winemaking was already practiced here in Roman times, but Zell became world-famous for its cult wine 'Zeller Schwarze Katz,' which has been exported worldwide since the 19th century. Steep vineyards, narrow streets, and half-timbered houses characterize the landscape – a place where the landscape and wine culture tell a long history.
