"The Rocca di Vasciano is a fascinating medieval castle located near Stroncone, in Umbria. Built close to the mountain, the fortress has vertical external walls and without an embankment, dating back to the 13th century. Its walls, now ruined, still retain a austere and majestic appearance. The towers and walls protected the town, and some of the towers still exist with the crumbling top once disputed between Narni and Stroncone, the Rocca di Vasciano is a historical jewel that is worth a visit."
