In past centuries there was first a mill here and then a wheel to operate a timber saw, exploiting the power of the water from the Brenta River. Today the same canal is used to generate electricity, through a screw turbine (còclea) installed in 2014. The great machinery is visible and hypnotic, with its perpetual and powerful movement... but it is not always active; when the river is low it stops.
