The palace was built in 1496 as the residence of Marquis Trecchi and has survived half of our millennium as a symbol of prestige and power. Behind these walls, far from the turmoil of the big city, in the quiet and rich province, great personalities such as Charles V, Federico Gonzaga, Christina of Denmark, Maximilian of Austria, Cardinal Medici, have found rest. In the mid-800s, Marquis Trecchi decided to renovate the building, enriching it with neo-Gothic decorations, elegant columns, precious ceilings. This extraordinary architecture, we can still admire in the rooms available to the public. A plaque in the courtyard of Palazzo Trecchi recalls the stay of Giuseppe Garibaldi, while other documents report on the visit of King Vittorio Emanuele III, Prince Umberto of Piedmont and Queen Elena on the occasion of the National Exhibition of Italian Antiques. In 1990, the property passed to Dr. Guido Gradellini, who transformed it into a modern event center.
