The new San Giovanni Bianco - Piazza Brembana railway section was 10+566 km long and brought the total length of the FVB line to 40+653 km. There were three new stations, Camerta Cornello, San Martino de' Calvi Sud (today Lenna) and San Martino de' Calvi Nord (today Piazza Brembana). In addition, 11 tunnels and 4 bridges with spans exceeding 10 m were built. The most important building was the spectacular bridge - viaduct with 8 arches, 119 m long, over the Brembo di Olmo near the Lenna station. Unlike the Bergamo - San Pellegrino Terme line, the support portals of the overhead power line were made with Mannesmann-type metal poles.
