Attention ⛔️ in July 2026, the bridge is not simply closed to traffic. The bridge is not there. The boats have been moved so you can't pass even on foot

The Bereguardo Pontoon Bridge is one of the last rare examples of a pontoon bridge remaining in Italy, located in the province of Pavia along the SP185 to connect the municipalities of Bereguardo and Zerbolò. 🚫 Attention! The bridge is currently completely closed to traffic for a major extraordinary maintenance and requalification project costing 3.2 million euros. Although reopening was initially planned for July 2026, due to construction delays, the closure has been extended and the estimated reopening date is now set for October 24, 2026.

You have to be careful if you are on a bicycle, especially if you are on a racing bike because the risk of slipping is high.
