For the view in the first photo, you have to hike up to the waterfall - definitely worth it!

Great cabin. Just luxurious. The last bit of the route here (along the lake) from Sauda is difficult when wet. Tip: There is only one spot to get reception for your phone or internet. This is exactly the spot from where I took the picture.

Here you can hike up directly to the waterfall via a few or many steps.

This scenic waterfall is fed by several small lakes that are situated high above you. One of them is Uradalsvatna.

A sort of mountain pass. Afterward, there's a beautiful view of the lake, and the Storavassbu hut isn't far away.

We did the hike after a few rainy days. Some sections were flooded and the path was not always easy to see (yellow markings) but it was a beautiful tour with many special moments.
