View of Rocky Bay

Highlight • Viewpoint

I also found in May 2022 that the markings are difficult to find. With a little thought and physical support, our dog (23 kg) was also able to manage the short climbing passages.

Definitely take the small circular path and always discover new perspectives from the lighthouse - most tourists seem to stay at the parking lot - here you are almost undisturbed. :-)

The Evangelical Lutheran Mandal Church (Mandal Church) is a wooden church in Mandal, Lindesnes municipality in Agder county, Norway. With 1,800 seats, it is the largest wooden church and one of the largest wooden buildings in Norway. The church was built after the great fire of Mandal in 1810 and consecrated in 1821. Before the fire, a 15th-century stone church stood on the old market square, where the former town center was located. So I wouldn't describe this tour as "easy" as described by Komoot. There are some climbing passages! Most of the markings were good to see with 2 or 3 exceptions. One should always look for the next marker before going any further and not rely on the beaten path! We didn't look for the marking once, but just followed the path and we were able to go back a good bit :-) And important, as has already been described several times by others: Good shoes and sure-footedness! And if it rains or after, I wouldn't do this hike!
