You can barely see it, but it's a bascule bridge. It opens when masted sailboats pass through. Opening and closing takes forever, so long lines of waiting pedestrians and cyclists form.

One of many bridges in this region giving perfect Norwegian views. Used for the 2017 World Road Race Champs to try and split the group up in the wind, all we got was beautiful views! Oh well.

The side towards the city has a noise barrier and is a bit quieter. To enjoy the view towards the fjord you need to choose the other side though.

Top wheel bridge, wide and double lane. Done perfectly! Saves a huge detour and you have a great view of Bergen and the marina.

A superbly developed bike path that takes you north to Bergen. Wide, with excellent asphalt and two lanes, it's a joy to cycle on. Heading south, past Kristianborg Station, you can also enter the Fyllingsdalen bike tunnel. At 3 km long, it's the longest bike tunnel in the world. It's fantastic how Bergen is investing in cycling infrastructure.
