Three-part Neoclassical cemetery gate from around 1830 or 1871 Source: Wikipedia The path to the cemetery in Monzingen leads from the Upper Gate through the cemetery gate, which is probably unique in its design. It was presumably erected in 1826 according to the plans of Mr. von Cocy. "Twelve horses were needed to haul these beautiful columns up the Naheweg," one of the old residents told the chronicler, who recorded this around 1911 to 1920. The gate was last renovated in 2014. View of Hochstetten-Dhaun with Hellberg. The Hellberg is a nature reserve (nice for hiking) and is a block heap. Block heaps are created by weathering: the rock is blasted by water and many stone blocks are created that roll down the slope. https://www.natursport.info/natursportraeume/lebensraeume/felsen/gesteinshalden/
