If you visit the town of Hachenburg, you should definitely not miss the impressive Hachenburg Castle! It sits picturesquely above the rooftops of the town on the Hagenberg and shines in a beautiful yellow. Even if you can't visit the inside of the castle, the external splendor of the baroque building is worth a look alone. The outdoor areas are open during the week (Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.), so take the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful view. The castle is now home to the Deutsche Bundesbank University.
