This bike tour was beautiful. We often rode very close to the water. The paths were almost always good to very good (exceptions: a) the stretch from Fürstenberg along the former Ravensbrück concentration camp and b) parts of the stretch from Kleinmutz to Kraatz with lots of potholes). The landscape is very varied and simply wonderfully relaxing.

All that remains of the prisoners' barracks is the empty space. The petty-bourgeois commanders' houses are being renovated. The guards' quarters are now a youth hostel. The camp was clearly visible from Fürstenberg, right across the lake.
