Kollmitzberg is located in the market town of Ardagger on the Moststraße and is considered – despite the manageable altitude of 469 m – one of the most beautiful viewpoints far and wide. Pilgrims, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers enjoy an almost unobstructed view in all directions here – from the Schneeberg to the Traunstein and across the Danube region far into the Bohemian Massif. A bike tour on the Kollmitzberg Bike Route is especially recommended for the Mostviertel pear tree blossom in spring. The pilgrimage church of St. Ottilie on the Kollmitzberg, visible from afar, was first mentioned in 1260 and has been considered a popular place of pilgrimage since the Middle Ages. The "Ottilienwasser", which springs up not far from the church, has been attributed healing properties since time immemorial.

Kaiser Jubiläums Obelisk At the entrance to the market town of Wallsee, at the upper end of the beautiful park, a black marble obelisk sits majestically on three steps, adorned with the golden imperial crown and a round stone portrait of the venerable head of the jubilant Emperor of Austria, His Majesty Franz Josef I. Beneath the portrait, the years 1830 – 1910 are nobly inscribed. Proudly and preserved for all time, the obelisk proclaims the blessed 80 years of the Emperor of Austria's life.
