It’s one of those railway crossing with a moving gar between two pillars, recently renovated so it has been signalised and so safer to cross. Perfect for pedestrians to though cyclists avoid, the gates are too narrow to squeeze a bike through without lifting it, and when a train is approaching, you don’t want to be in that situation

Smooth and flat but a lot of pedestrians, children and dogs at peak times

An impressive medieval castle with beautiful gardens. It's worth a visit. You can experience where Queen Victoria herself visited and imagine how the royals would dine when they were here. The historic cathedral is also truly worth seeing!

This is a pretty cool bridge, as it is one of the few retractable steel pedestrian footbridges in existence. The bridge linking East and West Littlehampton across the River Arun in 1981 has a retractable steel section to allow access to any piloted vessels upriver. It gives great views up and down the River Arun from here too.
