Val
September 21, 2025, Tillingbourne Waterfall

We walked past here in September 2025 but sadly the waterfall was totally dry and not running even tho it had been a very rainy week. A lot of the vegetation around it has also been cut.

This path whilst a little wet in places after the storms on the weekend of the Coronation was fine to cycle on with a gravel bike, don't think I'd chance it on a road bike, should be fine on a hybrid.

This viewpoint at Hurtwood is adorned by Converse, an accessible artwork that's intended for groups to sit around and communicate or simply take in the views in golden silence. It's specially designed so that wheelchairs can comfortably fit into the gaps between the three benches, which are arranged in a circle. The views are excellent, with both the Weald and the South Downs on show.
