For me, Rudolfshütte is pretty unique, at least here in the Hohe Tauern region. The hotel is located at around 2,300 meters altitude. So you not only have a guarantee of snow, but also a great starry sky on clear nights and a wonderful view of the glacier. And all this with full hotel service and sauna. Since the ski area hasn't really been developed, there are more mountain athletes up here than ski tourists and that's a great combination.

For me personally one of the most beautiful places I have visited. Great views and a wonderfully situated lake. This is the second time I've been there and I'll be back.

From the Mittelstation you get a nice panoramic look into the valley in front of you. It is definately rewarding to hike further up into the valley as the scenery will only get more spectacular.

From here you have a great view into the valley and on the other side on some beautiful mountain peaks. And on the side there a sneak preview of the Tauernmoossee.

It's particularly pretty here. Rough mountain peaks, some over 3000 meters, beautiful lakes and also green Alpine meadows.

The Mittelstation Grünsee offers you the opportunity to enjoy the panorama at the Grünsee. From here you can take a beautiful walk and skip the first tough climb if you wish. The cable car also offers you the option to continue uphill, where views of high peaks and a glacier await.
