The name "Professor Hans Henrik Müller Memorial" is incorrect! ``` Inscription: "Dated the 22nd of October 1806, Joseph Heitz lost his life through an unfortunate accident. With a Lord's Prayer, pray for me." Abbot Ignaz Speckle of St. Peter's reported on October 22, 1806: "This afternoon at 4:30, a violent storm with rain arose and lasted almost all night. The storm caused great devastation in the forests. Several houses were badly damaged; for example, the Schönhof in the front lost half its roof, as did many others. A man from Ränke named Heitz, a salt merchant, was driving through the high forest in this storm when his wagon overturned, and he fell from it. The next day, he was found dead under a sack of salt. The wagon was overturned, the horse entangled, unable to go any further, and had to spend the night with the wagon in the forest, which is why the man's misfortune went unreported for so long." There's a lovely fountain with a trough where you can refresh yourself with fresh spring water and/or refill your drinking containers. During my visit, there was even a bar of soap available for washing. In the attached "milk house," there were a few other drinks. However, I assume these are private, as I couldn't find a cash register anywhere.
