January 19, 1952 - Founding meeting of Luftseilbahn Wangs – Pizol AG (LWP). 1954 - Opening of the Bad Ragaz – Pardiel and Wangs – Furt cable cars. In the following years, the Pardiel – Laufböden, Prodboden, Furt, Furt – Gaffia, and Gaffia – Soldanella drag lifts were built (used as single-seater chairlifts in the summer).
