I’m wondering how rich people had to live here? ;) The information boards around the site are useful, helping you understand the layout of the villa, how its different sections were used and what the buildings might have looked like in their heyday. There is also a free audio guide available through the English Heritage website, which adds helpful historical context to your visit - worth to try. One of the highlights is the surviving Roman mosaic, protected inside a dedicated building.
