In 2015, the proQuercus association, with the support of the Audemars Piguet Foundation, awarded the Oak 2200 Promotion Prize for the sixth time. The town of Maienfeld (GR) was recognized for its long-standing commitment to preserving and promoting the oak tree. It received the award for its pioneering communication and education project "Eichenhaft." In an original and contemporary way, the centuries-old oak grove above Maienfeld is presented to a broad audience as a valuable natural and cultural heritage.
