You can enjoy a wonderful view from the cross next to the former mountain station. The point is not on an official snowshoe trail and it is steep down from Hochstuckli. So only visit if conditions and ability allow it!

You have to earn the sensational view from the Hochstuckli because it is a steep climb. But the view of the lakes (or the sea of fog) and the mountains makes up for every drop of sweat.

You have to take your snowshoes off when crossing the bridge. If you are coming from the cable car, it is best to put them on on the other side.
