The original church, twice the size, stands north of Frankfurt/Oder. Since the parish had to finance the construction entirely on its own and received no materials from East Germany, a great deal of improvisation was necessary. The architect of the Frankfurt church halved the project, allowing the plans to be completed very cheaply. Proven connections also proved invaluable in securing materials and carrying out the construction. Incidentally, it is the only new church built in the Oderbruch region during the GDR era, as everything there was destroyed during the war.

The current church was built between 1950 and 1955 according to plans by building inspector Curt Steinberg on the cemetery in the northwest of the village, directly on the B 167.[3] The earlier churches stood in the village center. The cemetery was established in the late 17th century by the Barfus family. This cemetery also contains the hereditary burial plot of the von Lestwitz-Itzenplitz family.

Cemetery of Polish soldiers who died during the crossing of the Oder and on the way to Berlin. The cemetery was established right after the war, but the exhumation and transfer of bodies lasted until 1948. There are 1,200 concrete crosses stylized as the Order of the Cross of Grunwald in the cemetery. In 1961, an 18-meter-high granite monument was erected in the middle of the cemetery. It consists of an obelisk with two Grunwald swords hanging on it, in the background there are sails symbolizing the crossing of the Oder, and next to the obelisk stands the figure of a woman (mother) with a child symbolizing the return of the Oder lands to Poland. 1,987 soldiers are buried in the cemetery (including 1,661 known by name).

Museum of the Engineers of the 1st Polish Army. It was established in 1965 in a building that was the headquarters of the commander of the engineer-sapper troops during the Oder crossing on 14.04-20.04.1945. The main exhibits are primarily memorabilia of the Oder crossing in Gozdowice, models illustrating structures used for operations related to the crossing and maps of the front. You can also see original cutters, boats and pontoons used to ferry troops across the Oder in 1945.

The Protestant village church in Kunersdorf in the municipality of Bliesdorf in Brandenburg is the third place of worship in the town. It was built in the 1950s in the late expressionist brick style and is a listed building. The other two former churches were destroyed (Thirty Years' War and WWII)
