At the top of Alderly Edge you will find this cafe. It is located at the start of the woodland foot paths where you can find old copper mines and tales of the wizard.

The Bull's Head is a very relaxed, quintessentially English village pub that lives true to its ‘Local and Proud’ motto. All the food is prepared freshly each day, by Andy and his team. Locally sourced food and a great selection of local Ales. https://thebullsheadpub.co.uk/

Black Lake lies in the centre of Lindow Common in Wimslow. It's a relatively large lake and the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll in nature. The lake is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is home to a variety of beautiful bird and duck species. Follow the paved path that goes around the lake to get the full beauty and experience.

Wizard's Well is a hidden gem and a local legend of Alderley Edge. There are many varying stories of the happenings at Wizard's Well but one suggests that a band of warriors lie sleeping in the chamber and only arise in times of trouble to save their country. Make sure to look closely at the rock itself to come face to face with the wizard!

Enjoy terrific views toward Manchester and to the hills of Cheshire's Peak District from 'The Edge', a dramatic red sandstone escarpment standing tall in the Cheshire Plains.

The caves in Alderley Edge are the remains of minework that was carried out here from as early as the Roman and Brone Ages! Written records show that mining continued here up until the 1920s, with obvious gaps inbetween. The mines are sometimes opened up to the public for guided tours, if this is something you're interested in you can check out dates and times here https://www.derbyscc.org.uk/alderley/current_visiting.php
