I love to venture into unfamiliar territory and then be surprised, like this beautiful place

The lock is on the way from Papenburg to Surwold / Börgerwald and offers a nice view to the moderately trained and a welcome stopover. Immediately a cafe invites you to linger. In my opinion, the next stop would be the “Im Timpen” café in Börgerwald, Im Timpen or, of course, the amusement park and fairy tale forest in Börgerwald with its beautiful observation tower.
